The beautiful pop star didn’t get to buy the idyllic small farm in the district – but this weekend she’ll be here on borrowed ground recording a music video.

Lene Marlin has chosen Vestfossen as a back cloth when the new video from the album ‘Lost In A Moment’ is to be recorded. According to the knowledge of Drammens Tidende, the North-Norwegian pop star will be present in Vestfossen from 0700 hours on Sunday morning. The music video for single number two from the album ‘Lost In A Moment’ will be recorded both outdoors in the streets of Vestfossen, as well as in the artist Morten Viskum’s private studio. Between 80 and 90 extras will be contributing to the production.

FELL FOR THE PLACE. – As I can understand, the recording of the video is in two parts. The car scenes are to be held outdoors, while the scenes from the live concert will be recorded in my studio, Viskum is telling Drammens Tidende.

The agreement on renting the studio was done two weeks ago. Then the artist got a visit from the production company behind the video recording.

– They had heard rumours about the premises, and came to have a look around. The especially fell for the industry character, and that it was much headroom. The also at the same time fell very much for Vestfossen as a village area. With the combination of factories, stores, and domestic buildings so close to one another, he adds.

POSITIVE FOR THE DISTRICT. The scenes that will be recorded in Viskum’s studio are supposed to represent a live concert. The closer to 100 extras will act as the audience. For Viskum, the recording is a nice occasion to be spreading his art to a greater and hopefully international audience.

– It is my work of art that will be hanging on the walls inside the studio. If the video turns out well, it means my pictures will be shown all over the world.

At a breathless pace, Lene is continuing her Taiwan promotion activities, and has appeared on MTV Music Battle in Taipei on Saturday evening, local time.

Our friends at lene.it are doing an excellent job on keeping up with Lene’s performances, thanks to correspondent Kotaro. We learn that Lene has played a whole six songs on the MTV Music Battle on Saturday evening, and the photos show a radiant Lene giving her very best. The songs were ‘Sitting Down Here’, ‘How Would It Be’, ‘Unforgivable Sinner’, ‘What If’, ‘Disguise’ and ‘Still Here’. A great mix of songs representing all the three studio albums PMG – AD – LIAM, as well as the Asia special single ‘Still Here’ (be sure to grab the video for ‘Still Here’ from lene.it).

You may also read a translation from China Times on the tarot reading that Lene did on Thursday. It seems to have been a quite ‘uneasy’ experience, if you ask us, as Lene had to stop Maurice (the tarot reader) on the topic of ‘love’. And things apparently got so ‘intimate’ in the end that the reporter of China Times had to leave the room.

We will also encourage everybody who have the opportunity to watch Norwegian TV2 to tune in at 22:35 hours tonight, for the entertainment news show ‘God kveld, Norge’ (registration required to view web-TV), where there will be a feature about Lene and her recording of the ‘What If’ video (most probably – it could also be the video for ‘Still Here’). We will try to post a video from the TV2 broadcast as soon as possible.

The wonderful photos of Lene with a white cap at yesterday’s SET TV’s ‘Showbiz’ broadcast in Taipei and the rain of flashlight in her smiling face tell us that Lene is taking Taiwan and South-East Asia by storm!

Lene-Marlin-Another-Day-263282With great courtesy of lene.it and their supplier Kotaro, we take the liberty of publishing some cut photos of Lene from yesterday’s events in Taiwan; both from SET TV’s ‘Showbiz’show as well as the TVBS-G TV’s ‘Enews’ show. Also, there are new great videos to download over at lene.it, so don’t miss out on this unique material! The videos show that Lene has received a placard of distinction for her three albums from EMI Taiwan on Thursday.

For today, Friday 21st, the schedule says that Lene will have presented her album ‘Lost In A Moment’ on a press conference, and she has taken some photos for ‘Elle’ magazine, as well as rehearsing for the ‘Music Battle’ (held on the upcoming Saturday). Afterwards Lene has been interviewed by Radio News98.

Lene has arrived in Taipei after a 21 hour journey to Taiwan, and has ended her first ‘full’ working day on Thursday.

lenge siden sist leneThere are updates with news from the Tapei visit on Lene’s official site lenemarlin.com, both in the regular news column and in Lene’s updated blog, where she also confirms the recording of the ‘What If’ video last Sunday. She has been a visitor at two radio stations (Wave Radio and Radio BCC – go download the full Radio BCC interview from lene.it) as well as two national TV entertainment shows, performing live the chorus part of ‘Still Here’, her re-recording of Faye Wong’s mega hit ‘I’m Willing’ from 1994.

We will make an attempt to have a daily shorter update on Lene’s Taiwan and China journey in the time ahead.
